What can I do if the library doesn’t have the article I need?

If the library does not have the article you need, you may request it through interlibrary loan (ILL). Access the UO Libraries page and select the “Library Accounts” tab on the toolbar at the top of the page. Click on “ILLiad Account (Interlibrary Loan)” and log in with your DuckID username and ILL password. Once logged in, on the right-side menu select Interlibrary Services > Article/Book Chapter Request. Fill out the form with as much of the citation information as you can. Once completed, click “Submit Request.” You will get an email when the article is available, which usually takes 24 hours.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 emergency, many libraries around the county are closed to employees and not fulfilling ILL requests. Obtaining material from other libraries is taking much longer than usual and will be quarantined upon arrival. Please use ILL judiciously.
